Retro Turntable (LY-116B) (3)

Why is the radio not clear?

Please adjust your antenna wire at the back of the turntable to improve reception. Make sure the antenna wire is extended.

There’s no sound when I plug into external speaker. Why?

The output at the back of the record player is RCA out. The volume is very low. If you use passive speakers, there will be no sound.

You need to plug the cable into your amplifiers or your home theater/HIFI system to the AUX-IN. Then, turn up the volume and you would be able to hear the music come through. Alternatively, you can connect it to active speakers. Active speakers are speakers that come with external power supply and usually has a volume knob.

Does this turntable comes with automatic tone arm?

This model is an entry level turntable. It does not come with auto arm and adjustment of tone arm weight.

Based on our experience, auto arm mechanism is usually the most vulnerable part that fail first. Hence, many modern players remove this feature. Instead, the player comes with a tonearm lift to lift or lower the tone arm once you move it into position. This is quite a bullet-proof feature.
