At Retrophonic, we are committed to supply entry-level turntables at affordable price. Most of our record players are around SGD200 – SGD1500 range. We had to admit, that we are retro maniacs. We simply love the classic, old-fashion design of these vinyl record players. Plus, vinyl just sound way way way better than digital music.

We have both belt-drive & direct drive turntables, and turntables with ceramic & moving magnetic cartridge. There are also turntables with Bluetooth connnectivity for pairing with speakers and headphones.

Record players that we carry at the shop includes multiple brands such as TEAC, Elipson, Audio Technica, NAD (made by Rega), Lenco, House of Marley & GPO. New products are added constantly to cater for different needs. All turntables are hooked up and ready for audition and A/B comparison across various brands and make. With more than 10 types of turntables at various price point, you should be able to find one that is suitable for you.

The GPO Chesterton, with its vintage style is a vinyl turntable that isn’t just beautiful to look at, it also sits right at the heart of your music collection.

Underneath the wooden lid is a three speed vinyl turntable with playback. The vintage style grill hides built in speakers and an FM radio with analogue tuning. There are two jacks, one for an Aux In to plug in speakers and an Aux out Phone jack for headphones. The Chesterton also features a CD player with cassette and radio. You can also record all of your music onto a USB stick.

The TN-400BT is an belt drive analog turntable that also allows users to listen to LP records wirelessly via Bluetooth® headphones & speakers. A die-cast aluminium platter provides accurate rotational speed while an S-shaped static-balanced aluminum tone-arm provides accurate tracking. The built-in Phono EQ amplifier enables the TN-400BT to be connected to a conventional hi-fi amplifier or a micro hi-fi, while a universal-type headshell allows users to change cartridges with ease.

The base of the turntable and the main bearing are the same as the lower end TN-300. The main difference is the S-shaped tone arm and Bluetooth feature.

A built-in Bluetooth® transmitter also lets users listen to LP records wirelessly with high-quality audio (thanks to the the aptX® and AAC codecs). A USB output, meanwhile, enables users to digitally archive their records on a PC at 16-bit/48kHz resolution (equivalent to CD quality).
